Christmas, Christmas, Christmas

This holiday is so crazy there is so much going on ward christmas parties, family christmas , singing, shopping, and much much more.

Playing in the snow

Well since it has been snow my kids have wanted to live out in it, even Kaizley. Every morning when I get her out of bed she has to look out the window to make sure it is still out there. On Saturday my kids went sledding and they all had lots of fun even Kaizley loved going down the hills on a sled.

Family christmas party

We had the Higginson Family christmas party and it just takes me forever to add them to my blog, but it was so fun and nice to have all that are around to come, and just have a good time, we do our usual tradition of a Potato bar it is just easy to do with a big crowd and then we did the pass the gift story, and we had a few candy jars to guess on it turned out great.

Santa clause

I went to my sisters ward Christmas party, it was fun. They do breakfast with Santa, which I think is a great idea. we ate breakfast, and then Santa came Jaxon didn't have a problem with him. Ellysa just stared at him like he was the scariest thing ever, and Kaizley just stared at him and wouldn't take her eyes off him but when it was time to sit on his lap she screamed alot, Ellysa wouldn't even go up to him. brings back memories.

Happy Birthday Jaxon

My oldest sweet boy turned 8 years old.... Wow how the time does fly. Yesterday I was going through pictures and it brought back memories of when I had just had him. How crazy it is that he is already 8. It is true if you blink too long you will miss alot. He now gets to do scouts and get Baptized both of which he is very excited to do. His friends are already in scouts and he was so excited to get to go with them. He gets Baptized on January 3rd with his cousin Derrick it will be a fun and memorable day for the 2 of them. He is such a great example to his sisters and a great big brother. Some things Jaxon likes are Pizza, playing video games, reading, Playing with his friends, and climbing trees,(makes me nervous). We Love you Jaxon!!!!!

IT"S A GIRL!!!!!!

For all who were wondering we are having another girl!!!!! I am so excited three girls could be fun Jaxon was a little bummed at first and he asked, "mom why do we keep getting girls" I told him we just take what we are given. I think it will be a fun and enjoyably addition to our family. I told Jaxon he will always get his own room and he didn't like that so much he told me that he wanted to share a room with someone. That will change, at least he can be a great big brother to his three sisters... We love our children so much and are greatful for what we get.

PUMPKIN CARVING

We carved pumpkins over the weekend, a tradition that our kids won't let us go without doing, So we went and picked out enough pumpkins for each of us. Ellysa got hers when she went on a field trip to the pumpkin farm, they let each kid pick out a pumpkin, and ahe was so excited when she got home to show us. So Joe D cut the tops of the pumpkins off and we told the kids that they had to clean them all out before we could carve any of them, so Jaxon cleaned out 3 and Ellysa cleaned out 2, then the carving began. Jaxon started his first, but I had to draw what he was going to carve first, he did a real good job carving his, then came Ellysa's I thought she was too young to carve it by herself, so Joe D helped her, then I drew the faces on for mine and Kaizley's and then Joe D got to carve the rest. Ellysa said I had to keep the pumpkin seeds and clean them and cook them, which I had never done, they actually turned out better than I thought they would. Well 3 out of 5 pumpkins have lasted. Someone decided they would smash two of them early, so the two that got smashed lasted three days, Ellysa and Kaizley's got smashed, oh well at least we still have 3 left, to show our halloween spirit...HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Kaizley is WALKING

Kaizley started walking finally, she walks everywhere and rarely crawls, it is so cute when she walks it reminds me of an old lady who gets up and can barely move or "ET" when he walks in the movie for halloween. It is so fun to watch your little ones just learning to walk. She gets mad if she falls down and she will throw a huge fit. I'm just glad she walked before the age Ellysa was which was 18 months. I thought we were headed there but she is walking at 14 months hurray. and now let the bruises begin, she already has a black eye and we didn't hit her she was throwing one of her fits and she hit her eye on one of her toys, it is so sad, one thing she has in common with her sister Ellysa is wow they throw the hugest fits, it is terrible, but we still love them!

Kaizley is getting so big, she is finally starting to walk a little, its so cute and she gets so excited, he is also starting to get a pretty good volcabulary for her age of almost 14 months, she just started to say "thank-you" and she will do the sign for "please" it is so cute I just love having her in our family, I couldn't imagine our family without her, We Love Her so Much!!!

New sisters pics

We had our pictures taken one last time just before Julianna left to go on her mission, we have so much fun together and we are going to miss her, the night before she left the four of us went to watch Mamma Mia, and I loved the movie so much we had to get the music to it, and we listen to it all day, I have my kids loving the music and now every morning I can hear Jaxon singing it in the shower I think it's great.

For Ellysa's Birthday we went to classic skating it was so fun, Ellysa really likes to go there, it was fun having her aunts, uncles grandma and grandpa, and lots of friends there to help us celebrate her 5th birthday. It was also fun seeing Grandpa waters out skating all over backwards, sideways, all around. What a fun and memorable day.

Kaizley's Birthday

For her birthday she got her first bike she was scared at first but now she loves it and rides it everywhere, she doesn't like to get off it. also when she ate her cake when she got done she rubbed it through her hair. wow what a mess!!

Grandma Waters Birthday

We went to grandma Waters Birthday today She turned 51 years young today. We made her a german chocolate cake and put 51 candles in it. WOW! The kids had fun and enjoyed eating it. Happy Birthday We Love you!!!!!

SO MUCH FUN!!!

Look How High

We went to a party at BonLosee where they had lots of food, cotton candy, snow cones, a bounce house for the kids and a rock wall. Jaxon said he wanted to do it, so I said he could try. Joe D took him to do it and they came back to tell me how fun it was. I didn't really think he would do it but he did and he loved it. This goes to show that he definitely didd not take after his mom, who is afraid of heights. I asked Ellysa if she wanted to try and she said "YES". I turned around and she was missing, so I walked to where the rock wall and there she was standing watching everyone climb, then she got so excited they asked her if she wanted to try. So they got the harness all hooked up and took her to the wall and that was it she got scared, she must be like me. So Jaxon took her turn, I think he went up it about 6 or 7 times, he was bummed out when it was time to go. Well I guess we know things that Jaxon likes and things Ellysa doesn't like.
